DeakinTV held their first 72 hour film festival, called Filmly.

In teams of three, you had to write, shoot, edit and hand in a 5-8 short film within 72 hours. But if that isn’t enough, there’s criteria you must meet in the film:

  • Must have a dragon
  • Must have the line “No use crying over spilt milk” and,
  • Must have a chase sequence where the runner gets away.

Once I rememberedĀ I had a dragon onesie, we had to use it.
At the screening, “The Egg” won “Best Prop” for its incorporation of a dragon.
